Stefy Karugu

Stefy is a health economist and Technical Advisor for AHFIA with over fifteen years of experience in resource-constrained countries. She most recently served as the African Union (AU) High Representative in Health Financing, where she provided technical support for sustainable health systems across Africa. At AHFIA, Stefy leverages her expertise to develop policy recommendations for sustainable health financing pathways.
She holds a Bachelor of Economics from the National University of Rwanda and a Master of Science in Global Health Policy Management from the Heller School of Policy and Management at Brandeis University, USA.
